 Service intended for individuals, holders of active cards issued by the Bank that allows to generate an one-time card account identification code in the ‘MICB Mobile Banking’ System, based on which the cardholder can top up the card account with a certain amount cash, directly at Cash-In ATMs, without physical use of the card.

ATMs accept simultaneously up to 50 banknotes of the same currency in different denominations.

Daily Cash-In by Code top up limit of the card account – MDL 14,000 (the equivalent in foreign currency).

Total cash top up limit for  MasterCard/Visa card, for a period of 7 calendar days, is MDL 45,000.

Daily cash top up  limit for  Visa card is $ 500.

The card account can be replenished based on a barcode only at Cash-In ATMs that have a barcode reader. Steps to follow:

Access the MICB Mobile Banking application. Select ‘Cards and Accounts’, then choose the source card from the list.

Press ‘Cash-In by Code’ from ‘Services’. The application will generate the bar code to fund the card account.

The barcode can be saved on the phone, by pressing the ‘Save the barcode’ button, or sent to a third party by ‘Transmit the barcode’.

To deposit cash in the card account, the Beneficiary selects the ‘Cash-In By Code’ button from the ATM menu and scans the ‘Cash-In by Code’ barcode in the ‘MICB Mobile Banking’ System.

The ATM scans and identifies the card account though the barcode and asks to insert the banknotes into the ATM.

The money is deposited in the card account immediately after the transaction is completed.

FAQ:

Only the cardholder can generate the code , but not the trustee, guardian, legal representative or any other third party.

If the currency is different from the card account, the money will be automatically converted at the commercial exchange rate for card transactions. The exchange rate for currency conversion operations is set by the Bank of the Initiator/Beneficiary, depending on the situation, for both the day of obtaining the authorization and the day of the final execution of the Transfer.

  • Do not insert more than 50 banknotes simultaneously.
  • Do not insert banknotes of different currencies at the same time.
  •  ATM does not accept banknotes with denominations of  MDL 1, MDL 5,  MDL 10 and EUR 500.
  • Do not insert receipts, trolleybus tickets and other foreign objects into the ATM.
  • Avoid damaged and folded banknotes.
  • Insert  money correctly – the long side of the banknote goes forward.
  • Daily cash top up limit for  MasterCard card is MDL 14,000.
