Travel Health Insurance
The travel health insurance covers unexpected health-related events that may affect the trip. Based on the insurance contract and for the insurance premium paid by the Contractor/Insured, the Insurance Company covers the medical expenses of the Insured Persons, subject to the insured amount, related to sudden illness, worsening of chronic diseases, accident, medical and body repatriation, which take place outside the Republic of Moldova.
The insurance shall cover:
- Medical expenses in case of sudden illness, exacerbation of chronic diseases and in case of accident outside the Republic of Moldova within the insurance amount of 5000-10000-30000-40000-50000 Euro/USD;
- Emergency dental expenses of EUR/USD 150 at most.
- Transportation to the medical institution.
- Medical repatriation.
- Body repatriation.
The insurance shall not cover:
- Treatment of chronic diseases or medical impairments existing before the trip.
- Medical expenses as a result of accidents caused intentionally, deliberate crimes, committed through gross negligence, in a state of alcohol intoxication, with serious violation of safety rules.
- Suicide or the consequences of a suicide attempt.
