CASCO Motor Vehicle Insurance

CASCO insurance covers property interests of the Insured, which are related to the possession, use and management of the motor vehicle indicated in the insurance declaration and insurance policy.

The motor vehicle is insured at its actual value, which is the amount indicated in the insurance policy, on the date of the insurance contract.

The actual value of the motor vehicle means the market value as of the date of insurance.

The contract is valid 24 hours (non-stop), during the period indicated in the insurance policy.

The insurance cost is calculated based on the rates of the Insurer, taking into account factors such as:  term of insurance, age and category of the motor vehicle, type of use, risk level and insured amount.


CASCO insurance covers property interests of the Insured related to the possession, use and management of the motor vehicle indicated in the insurance declaration and insurance policy.
The insurance shall cover:
  • Damages caused by collisions, hits, overturns, scratches, falls, objects falling on the motor vehicle.
  • Damages caused by fire, explosion, smoke, staining, charring or various destructions, resulted from the fire.
  • Damages caused by flood, storm, hurricane, earthquake, collapse or landslide, torrential rain, hail, lightning, weight of snow or ice, snow avalanche, mechanical action of running water or objects carried by water.
  • Theft of the motor vehicle or some of its components/parts, damages caused to it as a result of theft, robbery, burglary or attempted theft, as well as damages caused to the additional equipment installed in the motor vehicle, indicated by the Insured in the insurance application, the value of which is included in the insured amount of the motor vehicle.
The insurance shall not cover:
  • Damages caused intentionally by the Insured.
  • Accidents in which the driver: is under the influence of alcohol or drugs; does not have a driver’s license corresponding to the category; does not have the vehicle inspection certificate; tries to flee from pursuit at the time of committing a crime.
  • Leaving the scene of the road accident.
  • The part of the damage that exceeds the insurance compensations, provided for in the insurance contract.
  • The accident caused by force majeure, including through various military actions or measures during war, state of emergency, natural disasters, nuclear explosions, radiation or radioactive pollution, civil unrests, terrorist activities.
  • Deductible (in the case of CASCO insurance accompanied by a deductible) – a part of the damage covered by the Insured, which is established as a fixed amount or a percentage of the indemnity.
Documents to be submitted for the conclusion of the insurance contract:
  • – Identity card or other identity document (driver’s license).
  • – Vehicle registration certificate.
  • – Driver’s license (or other document containing the personal identification number/IDNP) of the persons who will use the insured motor vehicle, as the case may be.
  • – Documents certifying the right of possession of the motor vehicle (power of attorney, rental contract, leasing contract, etc.), as the case may be.
