Courage, perseverance, and team spirit — seven colleagues from Moldindconbank successfully reached the summit of Toubkal, the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains and in North Africa, standing at 4,167 meters above sea level and nicknamed the “Roof of North Africa.”

The adventure began on September 22 in the village of Imlil, Morocco, located at about 1,900 meters above sea level. From there, the seven colleagues set out on a demanding ascent that tested their physical endurance, determination, and ability to work together. After 6–7 hours of hiking, the team reached the refuge at the foot of Mount Toubkal, situated at 3,200 meters above sea level.

The night between September 22 and 23 was a short one, spent in tents at high altitude.

At 3:30 a.m., the team set out on the final stage of the ascent, facing darkness, fatigue, and the challenges of the mountain.

After approximately three hours of intense effort, around 6:30 a.m., the colleagues were rewarded with a memorable moment: sunrise, admired from the saddle between two peaks over 4,000 meters high.
Beyond the sporting achievement, this experience is a lesson in trust, solidarity, and the power to keep moving forward, even when the road becomes difficult. Every step brought them closer not only to the mountain’s summit, but also to a shared goal, proving that great accomplishments are possible when people support one another.

Moldindconbank continues its tradition of conquering great heights. Last year, the team climbed the biblical Mount Ararat, reaching an altitude of 5,137 meters. This year, that beautiful tradition continued with Toubkal Peak, at 4,167 meters, the highest in the Atlas Mountains and in North Africa. Two impressive ascents, two remarkable challenges, and the same desire to push beyond limits and turn ambitious goals into memorable achievements.

Moldindconbank, once again at the top! Together, we conquer new peaks and turn challenges into victories!
