Spring begins with hope, and at Moldindconbank, we believe that this feeling comes to life through simple gestures filled with care for people. During this period, we have joined the “A Mărțișor for Hope” campaign, organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova, an initiative that provides support to persons facing incurable illnesses.

For us, each mărțișor (a traditional Moldovan ornament tied with a red and white string offered on March 1) symbolizes more than just the tradition marking the beginning of spring. It is a sign of solidarity, courage, and gratitude — for those in need of support and for those who choose to offer help. Through this initiative, the ornaments handcrafted by volunteers become a symbol of support and hope for those who need them most.

The impact of these gestures is both real and profound. The funds raised from the sale of ten ornaments can cover the cost of a group therapy session for patients, while the contribution generated from fifty ornaments makes possible a home visit by an interdisciplinary team that provides care and support to a patient.

At Moldindconbank, we believe that involvement and care for the community make a real difference. When people come together around a good cause, even a small gesture can bring light and confidence into someone’s life.
