To enable SEPA transfers, the sender (payer) must:
go to any branch or secondary office of the bank with their valid ID, in original, and supporting documents (if applicable);
specify exactly:
a) the first and last name of the beneficiary (individual) or the name of the company (legal entity), as well as their address;
b) the beneficiary’s identifier (in the case of an individual ā passport/ID card/tax code/driver’s license details or date and place of birth; in the case of a legal entity ā state registration number/tax code/VAT payer code);
c) bank details (bank name, SWIFT code, and account number/IBAN);
d) the amount and currency of the transfer;
e) payment destination.

have the necessary supporting documents available (where applicable);
sign the request for transfer of funds and the cash collection order.
To receive transfers via SEPA:
Individuals can receive foreign currency payments into their accounts opened with the Bank by informing the payer/sender of the account details (IBAN, SWIFT code, beneficiary’s first and last name).
The bank details are communicated to the account holder when the account is opened or can be issued, upon request, at any branch of the Bank.
The amount of the foreign currency transfer received by the Bank and recorded in the account of the individual beneficiary of the payment may be:
a) given out in cash, in foreign currency, to the beneficiary;
b) transferred to the same or another bank, in the name of the individual beneficiary, to be recorded in their account;
c) used to perform cashless transactions permitted by the foreign exchange legislation of the Republic of Moldova for individuals;
d) sold to the Bank against the national currency and/or other foreign currency (as applicable), with the transactions provided for by the foreign exchange legislation of the Republic of Moldova for individuals;
e) returned to the sender of the funds.
- 2 EUR for amounts up to and including 1000 EUR;
- 5 EUR for amounts over 1000 EUR.
The bank is not responsible for informing the beneficiary about the transfer made.
