Moldindconbank announces the approval by the National Bank of Moldova of Mr. Nikolay Borissov as member of the Bank’s Board of Directors. The decision was adopted by the Executive Board of the NBM on May 2, 2024 and entered into force on the same day.

Nikolay Borissov has extensive international financial and banking experience. As a representative of “Doverie-invest” EAD in Bulgaria, Mr. Borissov participated in the valuation of several banks in the Republic of Moldova, including Moldindconbank, an institution of which the European investor became the majority shareholder in March 2019.

From February 2020 to June 2022, he was the Chairman of the Managing Board of Moldindconbank and from March 2023 to September 2023, he was the advisor to the Bank’s Board of Directors. Previously, he was the Executive Director and member of the Managing Board of DSK Bank AD, the member of the Board of Directors of „Doverie – invest” EAD, as well as the bank strategic advisor at „Doverie – united holding” AD.

Nikolay Borissov studied at the University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria.
