To make transfers via SWIFT, the legal entity (the payer) must meet the following conditions:

Have the amount required for the transfer, including the bank fees related to the transaction.

The available funds must be credited to the account before initiating the transfer.

Possess and provide the bank with the necessary supporting documents, in accordance with the applicable legislation and NBM regulations.

Information that must be indicated accurately:

Beneficiary identifier* — this identifier is optional. In the case of a legal entity: state registration number / tax code / VAT payer code / LEI*.

*LEI (the LEI code is generally required for a wide range of companies involved in financial transactions): https://www.gleif.org/en

Company name (legal entity) or full name (in the case of an individual), as well as their address.

Bank details: bank name, SWIFT code, and account number — IBAN.

Payment amount and purpose.

Legal entities may receive payments in foreign currency through the SWIFT system into accounts opened with the Bank.

The beneficiary must provide the payer/sender with the following banking details:

  • the account IBAN;
  • the Bank’s SWIFT code;
  • the full name of the beneficiary company.

 

The bank details related to the account can be obtained:

Crediting funds to the account is FREE OF CHARGE.

Intra-bank transfers:

10  EUR –  paper-based, for the Bank’s clients (residents and non-residents);

5  EUR –  electronic format, for the Bank’s clients (residents and non-residents);

5  EUR / USD –  paper-based, from one account to another account of the same client (excluding the credit account and the deposit account);

2  EUR / USD *  –  from one account to another account of the same client (excluding the credit account and the deposit account) — electronic format (*0 USD/EUR in the case of a transfer from the current account to account 2258 and vice versa for the same client).

*The fee is charged at the time the transaction is carried out. In the case of transfers in other currencies, the fee is charged in the transfer currency, in an amount equivalent to the fee set in EUR.

Transfers in favor of a client of another bank (RM / abroad):

USD

  • 0,30% minimum 30 USD, maximum 250 USD — paper-based
  • 0,25% minimum 25 USD, maximum 250 USD — electronic format

 

EUR

  • 0,35% minimum 30 EUR, maximum 250 EUR — paper-based
  • 0,25% minimum 25 EUR, maximum 250 EUR — electronic format

 

Other foreign currencies

  • 0,35% minimum 30 EUR, maximum 250 EUR — paper-based
  • 0,25% minimum 25 EUR, maximum 250 EUR — electronic format

 

Types of fees:

  • DEBT / SHAR – the fee is paid by the client;
  • CRED – the fee is deducted from the transfer amount.
