e-Guarantee – a bank guarantee in electronic form, to which a qualified electronic signature has been affixed by the bank’s authorized person, issued on the basis of the general conditions and the application for issuing the e-Guarantee

The e-Guarantee can be issued for:
- participation in the tender for the procurement of goods/public works procurement;
- good execution of the delivery of goods/performance of works;
- return of the advance payment;
- guaranteeing the non-payment.
a) The Authorizing Officer has a current account opened with the Bank and is connected to the Bank’s Automated Remote Service System;
b) The Authorizing Officer is eligible for issuing bank guarantees according to the Bank’s internal regulations;
c) The Authorizing Officer has sent the copies of the documents proving the existence of the basic relationship between the Authorizing Officer and the Beneficiary, mentioned in the Application;
d) The guarantee is requested in national currency (MDL);
e) The Beneficiary of the guarantee is registered in the Republic of Moldova;
f) Ensuring the funds available in the Authorizing Officer’s current account opened with the Bank, in the amount necessary to replenish the Guarantee account;
g) Ensuring that funds available in the current account in the amount necessary to pay the examination fee;
h) The Application for issuing the e-Guarantee is filled in with all the necessary information and signed by the Authorizing Officer’s authorized person with qualified electronic signature;
i) Sending other documents at the Bank’s request.
