POS-Terminals
The service is intended for your company, if you sell goods or provide services and want to increase your sales. The cards are accepted at food and industrial stores, points of sale of service providers, pharmacies and hospitals, bars and restaurants, hotels, filling stations, etc.
Accepting payments by cards is the method recommended by the Government of the Republic of Moldova (Decision of the Government of the Republic of Moldova no. 709 of 12.06.2003).
What types of POS terminals does MICB offer?
Contactless POS terminals of different types:
- Fixed – integrated with the retailer’s tax checkout and control systems (communication line ā the Internet), standard terminal for retail activity.
- Mobile (GPRS ā through the SIM card, which is offered by MICB) – for certain types of activity (HoReCa or courier services). A mobile POS terminal with a built-in SIM card is offered.
What do we offer?
- We conclude a contract with you on the acceptance of bankcards for payment.
- We install POS terminals for free at points of sale.
- The Bank’s employee trains the company’s staff on the use of the POS terminal.
- On the second business day, we transfer to your settlement account (opened with our Bank or with another bank in the Republic of Moldova) the total amount of the transactions made, minus the commission negotiated in the contract.

Processing contactless payments and modern payment solutions: Apple Pay, Google Pay and Garmin Pay.
Increasing sales ā studies show that cardholders are prone to spend 10-30% more than those who pay in cash.

A safe and convenient payment system ā the risk of accepting fake banknotes, the risk of money being stolen from the cash register, the cost of collection services are eliminated.

for Visa/Mastercard cards issued by Moldindconbank – 1.20%;
for Visa/Mastercard cards issued by banks from the Republic of Moldova – 1.70%;
for Visa/Mastercard cards issued by banks abroad of the Republic of Moldova ā 2.40%;
POS installation ā free of charge.
Authorization fee for integrated terminals: +1 MDL per transaction.
