New possibilities for Moldindconbank customers using the MIA payment system
Starting today, new functionalities offered by MIA Instant Payments, such as QR code payments, link-based payments and Me2Me transfers are available to the Moldindconbank’s individual customers.
Thus, having a Moldindconbank card you can pay for goods and services simply by scanning a QR code or a payment link, provided by the merchant. Transactions can be made anywhere and anytime, quickly and securely.
How QR code payment works
Make the necessary purchases and pay at the cash register by simply scanning the merchant code with your mobile phone or directly from the MICB Mobile Banking app. There are two types of QR code payments: one with the amount according to the receipt, where you just need to confirm the payment and the other where you enter the amount of the purchase. All you need to do is verify the data and confirm the payment.
How link-based payment works
Link-based payments can be made online using a one-time link provided by the service provider. This link directs you to a secure payment page where you need to select the MICB Mobile Banking application and confirm the transaction. The payment links will be included into online stores or sent directly via email, text message or messaging apps, simplifying the payment process.
Me2Me payment
Me2Me payments simplifies money transfers between Moldindconbank customers’ own accounts with other banks. In order to make a Me2Me transfer, you need to activate the MIA Instant Payments service in all banking applications where you have a card or account. Thus, in the Me2Me section of the MICB Mobile Banking application, you will be able to view the list of banks where you have an MIA-enrolled account.
How to activate MIA in the MICB Mobile Banking app:
1. Update the Moldindconbank mobile app from the App Store or Google Play;
2. Go to Settings /Payments /MIA Settings in the mobile app;
3. Select the account you want to enroll;
4. Activate the MIA payment system and save the settings.
