Nine courageous women, who have faced difficult times due to domestic violence, have been able to transform their lives thanks to the support provided by Moldindconbank and the Women’s Law Center. In March, Moldindconbank and Pudra Card contributed a generous donation of 200 000 lei to support the economic empowerment of these extraordinary women

Moldindconbank’s First Deputy Chairperson of the Managing Board, Ms. Tzvetanka Kroumova, visited the Women’s Law Center and discussed with five of the nine recipients of the donation.

“I was impressed by the stories and the courage of these women, who have gone through hardships, pressures, but decided to fight for a better future for themselves and their children. I am convinced that, thanks to the involvement of Moldindconbank and Pudra Card customers, our financial contribution, these women now have more security and hope for a better life”, Ms. Tzvetanka Kroumova said.

The Executive Director of the Women’s Law Center, Angelina Zaporojan-Pîrgari, said that the donation from Moldindconbank was essential to finance the courses in cooking, baking, accounting, hairdressing, as well as for the purchase of machinery and equipment necessary for the beneficiaries to develop beautiful and sustainable businesses. These initiatives not only provide them with financial independence, but also contribute to their spiritual fulfillment.

“The Women’s Law Center gave them psychological and legal support. However, financial support is also needed to protect them from the environment in which they have been subjected to violence. During the 3rd edition of the mini charity women’s soccer tournament, which took place in March 2024, four teams of influencers, journalists, Premium customers and Moldindconbank employees took the field.
