Moldindconbank opens its doors to young people: financial lessons during Global Money Week

Moldindconbank is once again joining the international Global Money Week initiative, taking place from March 16 to 22, and is inviting children and teenagers to discover, in a friendly and interactive way, how the world of money works. The global campaign, coordinated by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and supported nationally by the National Bank of Moldova, is held under the āSmart Money Talksā motto in more than 170 countries.
On this occasion, Moldindconbank specialists will open the doors of several branches and hold financial education sessions for pupils and students, giving young people the opportunity to learn useful things for everyday life. Children and teenagers aged 7 to 20 from more than 70 educational institutions and youth centers across various localities of the country are expected to take part in the activities.
Between March 16 and 20, children and young people will take part in interactive meetings with branch managers and banking experts, who will explain in simple terms what money is, how a bank works, and why it is important to learn how to manage finances properly.
The discussions will cover practical and current topicsāfrom the use of bank cards and services to concepts such as interest, APR, responsible credit choices, financial safety, and fraud prevention. Everything will be presented in an accessible format, with real-life examples and open dialogue with participants.
The atmosphere will be relaxed and full of curiosity, and the most engaged and active young participants will be rewarded with surprises and symbolic gifts from Moldindconbank.
Through this initiative, Moldindconbank aims to turn discussions about money into a useful, interesting, and inspiring experience for the younger generation, encouraging them to ask questions, better understand financial decisions, and gradually build a responsible financial future.
For Moldindconbank, financial education is not just a concept ā it is an investment in the future of young people and the community.
