Moldindconbank confidently supports renewable energy development projects and customers who are willing to invest in the green segment for a more sustainable future of the Republic of Moldova. Thus, Moldindconbank supported the inaugural on Wednesday, September 25, of a photovoltaic power station with a capacity of 1 MW in Boldurești village, Nisporeni rayon. The project is developed by Danish Renewables SRL, a subsidiary of Danish Renewables ApS, a Danish investor with a significant presence in the renewable energy sector in Moldova since 2016.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Moldova, Søren Jensen, the Regional Director of Moldindconbank, Petru Ernu, the Founder and investor of Danish Renewables, Esben Christensen, the local partner Chiril Gaburici, the Director General of the National Agency for Energy Regulation of the RM, Veaceslav Untila, the Director General of Energocom, Victor Banzari, and local authorities.

“Moldindconbank has financed 90% of the cost of this project, under the terms available in the market, with the support of the Government through the Contractor Support Program. This is a first collaboration with Danish Renewables Group and we are confident that we will continue to support all stages of this green project with a total capacity of 3.15 MW. At the same time, we are convinced that we will have a prolific and long-lasting collaboration with Danish Renewables for new projects.”

The new photovoltaic power station uses high-performance equipment: Huawei inverters and JA Solar panels. This is the first stage of a larger project, which will have a total capacity of 3.15 MW. The total investment at this stage in Boldurești is MDL 12,100,000.
