An alley in the Valea Morilor Park in Chisinau is now neater and greener, thanks to Moldindconbank. The bank’s team responded again this year to Jurnal TV’s call to participate in the “Jurnal TVerde” project, a greening and sanitation campaign for green spaces, now in its 14th edition.

The Chairman of the Managing Board of Moldindconbank, Mr. Alexander Picker, noted that a large number of employees came with their families to this event.

“Moldindconbank aims to be even more actively involved in the life of society, to contribute to people, our customers to live in a healthy, green environment, to promote responsibility and involvement in ESG projects, to solve together existing problems, in this specific case – to have a greener and cleaner city. I proudly want to say that I am also supported by the Moldindconbank team – we are more than 70 employees of the bank, who came here with their families and by our action we show that we care about the environment and society in general,” Mr. Alexander Picker said.

The organizers were delighted with the large number of participants who responded to Jurnal TV’s call.

“Greening the place where we live has become a fantastic tradition every spring. In previous years we have set up a square where we installed a chess board, this year we made the board as beautiful and durable as possible,” said Jurnal TV General Producer Gabi Marcu.

Participants in the campaign in the Valea Morilor Park planted over 300 shrubs and flowers. The organizers had a special program for children, who again this year set off on the traditional chocolate egg hunt. However, not before leaving their handprints on a banner with the symbol of the action – a green tree.
