35 years, 35 Easter baskets: Moldindconbank and The Moldova Project bring joy to families in Hincesti

On the eve of the Easter holidays, when every act of kindness means more than ever, Moldindconbank, together with the “The Moldova Project” Association, brought light and joy into the lives of children and their families from Hincesti district.
35 socially vulnerable families from the localities of Mingir, Horjesti, and Carpineni received carefully prepared Easter baskets — gifts for the holiday table, but also for the soul. The event was complemented by socio-educational activities, creative workshops, games, and a cooking workshop where children had the opportunity to learn, create, and enjoy time together.

The initiative carries a special meaning: the 35 baskets offered symbolize the 35 years of activity of Moldindconbank — years during which the bank has grown together with the community and remained close to those in need of support.
“The Holy Week reminds us that light is not only around us, but especially within our souls. Through this gesture, we wanted to bring a bit lighter into your homes and to be close to you during these special days. Each basket is a sign of care, a kind thought, and an encouragement. We wish you peaceful holidays, abundant meals, serenity, and much hope,” Victor Cibotaru, Chairman of the Management Board of Moldindconbank, said.

In turn, Victoria Morozov, President of the “The Moldova Project” Association, emphasized the importance of such initiatives:
“What we offer are not just gifts, but contexts in which children can experience healthy emotions — joy, safety, and connection. For many of them, these experiences become reference points that shape how they see themselves and the world around them. The involvement of economic agents such as Moldindconbank is essential, as it allows us to ensure the continuity of our interventions, to respond to real needs in the field, and to build, responsibly, solutions that bring lasting change to the lives of children and families.”

The atmosphere was warm and bright, just like the Easter holidays — filled with children’s laughter, genuine emotions, and people who chose to give kindness and hope from the heart. Because sometimes, the simplest gestures are the ones that ignite the strongest light.
