Head of Transformation and Project Management

Moldindconbank is looking for a strategic leader for the Head of Transformation and Project Management role, responsible for driving organizational transformation, managing the project portfolio, and optimizing business processes across the bank.

The role objective is to ensure the successful implementation of transformation initiatives, effective management of the project portfolio, and development of an Agile operating model that supports the bank’s strategic objectives.

What you will do:

• Lead the bank’s project portfolio, with focus on strategic priority initiatives;
• Ensure project governance, including risk management, dependencies, and planning;
• Define and implement the Agile transformation roadmap;
• Analyze and optimize business processes to improve efficiency;
• Propose and implement improvement solutions, tracking their impact;
• Lead project teams and support Project Managers;
• Facilitate decision-making and cross-functional collaboration;
• Contribute to building a strong project and Agile culture;
• Coordinate change management initiatives and product management standards;
• Deliver training and facilitate Agile events across the organization;
• Ensure transparent communication with executive stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

• University degree in business, IT, economics, or similar;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and/or transformation;
• Project Management certification is an advantage;
• Experience in banking, IT, or fintech;
• Strong knowledge of Agile and process management;
• Proven experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams;
• Strong financial acumen (budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, etc.);
• Experience in digital transformation and innovation;
• Languages: Romanian, Russian, and English – advanced level;
• Strategic mindset with a strong focus on results;
• Proven leadership, communication, and negotiation skills;
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
