Windows Systems & Security Engineer, Information Technology Department

Moldindconbank is expanding its Infrastructure team! We are looking for a Windows Systems & Security Engineer with a deep passion for infrastructure administration and IT security.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and securing our Windows environment, with a primary focus on stability, availability, and rigorous security standards. You will work hands-on with servers, workstations, Active Directory, and advanced compliance frameworks to protect the bank’s digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Windows server and client infrastructure in strict accordance with information security requirements.
  • Implement and manage security policies using Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), BitLocker, Windows Defender, and advanced firewall configurations.
  • Oversee update management and security patching protocols for all Windows systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and execute remediation measures across the Windows environment.
  • Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and coordinate rapid remediation activities.
  • Ensure system compliance with internal policies and international standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and Microsoft Security Baselines.
  • Generate periodic security and compliance reports for infrastructure audits.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, support teams, and the Information Security department to harden systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to internal users on secure system usage.
  • Lead documentation efforts for technical procedures and infrastructure changes.
  • Provide high-level technical support for complex incidents within the IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Higher technical education in IT, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administering Windows operating systems (Server and Client).
  • Hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, BitLocker, Windows Defender, and Firewalls.
  • Strong proficiency in IT security principles and system hardening techniques.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing).
  • Professional certifications such as MCSA, ITIL, or CompTIA Security+ are a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
