Asset and liability management manager, Asset and liability management department

The Asset and Liability Management Department team is looking for a colleague for the position of Asset and Liability Management Manager.

The objective of the position is to contribute to the management of the bank’s assets and liabilities, the management of the bank’s monetary position, the bank’s liquidity, capital and IRRBB, model building and forecasting.

Duties:

  • Analysis of the structure and dynamics of the Bank’s assets and liabilities;
  • Analysis of the dynamics and structure of the Bank’s multi-currency balance sheet, preparation based on the analysis of operative information and reports;
  • Liquidity analysis, maturity analysis of the Bank’s assets and liabilities, submission of proposals to the ALCO Committee regarding liquidity risk management;
  • Monitoring the Bank’s liquidity in accordance with the norms established by the NBM and internal requirements;
  • Elaboration and submission of proposals regarding the optimal internal norms of liquidity indicators in accordance with the current situation and international banking practice;
  • Calculation of available resources for placement in different financial instruments based on the current financial forecast and the optimal liquidity of the Bank;
  • Analysis of the cost of resources and interest rate spread, analysis of interest rate risk, submission of proposals and reporting to the ALCO Committee regarding the management of interest rate risk outside the trading portfolio;
  • Monitoring and analyzing the dynamics of the structure and quality of the Bank’s resource base, from the point of view of concentration, cost, maturity, volatility and other important indicators in order to manage the investment policy in financial instruments;
  • Development of financial models and preparation of forecasts;
  • Participation in the development and automation of prudential records and reporting;
  • Data processing, structuring and analysis for decision-making purposes;
  • Providing support in the development of reports and their automation through different tools and forms of visualization.

Requirements:

  • Superior or specialized studies in the field of economic sciences;
  • Work experience in the financial field of at least 1 year;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint;
  • Knowledge of tools for working with databases: MS Access, SQL will be an advantage;
  • Fluent knowledge of Romanian, Russian and English;
  • Analytical and forecasting skills;
  • Attention to details;
  • Self-organization and punctuality;
  • Mental stability and emotional balance.
