Data Protection Officer, Data Protection and ESG Department

The team of the Data Protection and ESG Department is looking for a colleague for the position of Data Protection Officer.

Position background: to develop and promote the commitment of the Bank to personal data protection issues.

Duties:

• To monitor compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law and other normative acts of personal data protection;
• To coordinate the awareness-raising and training of the staff involved in processing operations and related inventory and monitoring processes;
• To inform and advise the employees in charge of data processing regarding their obligations under the legislation in force;
• To provide advice upon request regarding data protection impact assessment and monitoring of its operation;
• To provide consultations and opinions on data protection issues.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the banking sector and thorough knowledge of personal data protection;
• Relevant higher education in the field (eg: legal). A certificate of completion of a DPO course will be an advantage;
• Initiative, proactive attitude;
• Knowledge of Romanian/Russian, English.
