The IBAN replaces the customer\u2019s account number in all transfers executed via the\u00a0<strong>SWIFT network<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>SEPA infrastructure<\/strong>\u00a0(both outgoing and incoming).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In accordance with the amendments to the <strong>Regulation on credit transfer, direct debiting, and the assignment of IBAN codes<\/strong>, approved by Decision of the Executive Board of the National Bank of Moldova No. 108 of 08.06.2023, the use of the IBAN is\u00a0<strong>mandatory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Transfers submitted\u00a0<strong>without an IBAN<\/strong>, with an\u00a0<strong>incorrect or incomplete IBAN<\/strong>, or with an\u00a0<strong>incomplete, incorrect, or missing beneficiary name<\/strong>\u00a0will not be executed.
